LUZONE LEGAL RECEIVES VISIT FROM THE FORMER JUDGE OF RIO COURT OF APPEAL, DR. JORGE HABIB
Ontem, nossos sócios Leandro Luzone e Rafael Lyrio receberam em nosso escritório do Rio de Janeiro a visita do desembargador do Tribunal de Justiça, Dr. Jorge Habib, acompanhado do nosso cliente português, Sr. Alberto Martins, recém chegado de Portugal.
Dr. Jorge Habib tomou posse no extinto Tribunal de Alçada Cível pelo Quinto Constitucional e, posteriormente, assumiu o cargo de desembargador do Tribunal de Justiça do Rio de Janeiro e a presidência da 18a Câmara Cível até se aposentar em 2014.
Reconhecido por seus relevantes serviços prestados à magistratura fluminense, Dr. Jorge Habib recebeu a medalha de honra do Tribunal de Justiça do Rio e a Medalha Pedro Ernesto, do Poder Legislativo Municipal, pela Câmara de Vereadores.
A visita do ex-desembargador com nosso cliente foi uma oportunidade para nosso escritório de troca de experiências e conhecimento, além de uma atualização em relação ao momento atual da justiça e dos desafios da advocacia.

Luzone Legal receives visit from the former judge of Rio Court of Appeal, Dr. Jorge Habib
Yesterday, our partners Leandro Luzone and Rafael Lyrio received at our office in Rio de Janeiro the visit of the court of appeal judge, Dr. Jorge Habib, accompanied by our Portuguese client, Mr. Alberto Martins, recently returned from Portugal.
Dr. Jorge Habib assumed the position of judge in the extinct "Tribunal de Alçada Cível" as a former lawyer and, later, he assumed the position of judge of the Court of Appeal of Rio de Janeiro and he was president of the 18th Civil Chamber until his retirement in 2014.
Recognized for the excellent services rendered to the Judiciary of Rio de Janeiro, Dr. Jorge Habib received the medal of honor from the Court of Appeal of Rio de Janeiro and the Pedro Ernesto Medal, from the Municipal Legislative Power, by the House of Representatives.
The visit of the former judge with our client was an opportunity for our law firm to exchange experiences and knowledge, as well as an update in relation to the current moment of justice and about the challenges of legal practice.
