Dr. Jorge Luiz Habib is a retired judge from the Court of Appeal of the State of Rio de Janeiro, having already received the medal of honor from the Rio de Janeiro judiciary, by the Special Body of the Court, after serving for 18 years in the State of Rio Judicial System.

Judge Jorge Luiz Habib completed his bachelor's degree in Law in 1968, practicing law for 28 years. In 1996, he was appointed to the extinct Civil Court of Appeal, as the fifth constitutional member of the Brazilian Bar Association. In 1998, he was appointed to the position of judge at the Court of Appeal of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
